These recipes, passed down from Mother to Daughter, were collected at the begining of the 20th century by New Yorker Florence Greenbaum. With an introduction by Lizzie Reubens, the menu next Pesach includes beefsteak pie, sole in wine and strawberry cheesecake as well as the standards, kugel, chicken soup, egg and matzo and macaroons amongst dozens of dishes, tried, tested and adored by generations.
